Judgment Day: June 8th

Sure it's only the start of June but fans within the AL Central should get a pretty good idea of what the rest of the season is going to look like when the Detroit Tigers square off against the Chicago White Sox June 8th.

Right now, the Tigers lead stands at 3.5 games with June 8th starting the five game series in Chicago.

Everything can swing one direction or another even if Detroit leaves Chicago with a half-game lead.

The White Sox have been on fire lately winning 10 of their last 13 games but the majority of those wins have come against second tier teams like the Pittsburgh Pirates, the struggling Los Angeles Angels and currently the worst team in baseball outside of the Washington Nationals, your 2009 Oakland A's.

Five games won't make or break the season for either team but it should certainly show you were each team stands.

It also begins a tough stretch in June where White Sox fans will find out if the team is for real or not with games 12 games with the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds and Milwaukee Brewers on tap.
