After rumors of Jay Cutler being traded to the Redskins ending when Cutler was traded to the Bears, Washington quarterback Jason Campbell didn't do something Cutler did.
He didn't cry about it.
Cutler had his name mentioned in one little trade rumor, and he complains and doesn't answer coaches and owners phone calls until they finally trade him to Chicago.
Campbell's name has been strung around in trade rumors ever since Cutler demanded a trade. But does he have a public hissy fit over it? No. He met with Washington coaches, who told him he's their quarterback, and he moved on with his life.
Last season, Campbell had a quarterback rating of 84.3 while throwing for 3,245 yards with 13 touchdowns and six interceptions. That compares to Cutler's rating of 86.0 while throwing for 4,526 yards with 25 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.
It's not like Cutler is in a completely different league than Campbell. Campbell is pretty close to Cutler's talent level.
The bottom line is Jay Cutler does not have the résumé to pull what he did to get out of Denver. He should have kept his mouth shut and continued his career as a Bronco.
Jason Campbell ... the anti Jay Cutler
