Hey, Courtney, the Oklahoma AD will accept cash or check

A long time ago, in a college basketball galaxy far away, Oklahoma University women's basketball star Courtney Paris guaranteed a national championship and put her full-ride scholarship on the line. I hope Paris has been saving up:

Unlike most past guarantees in sports, Paris’ carries a consequence. Paris said she’d pay back her athletic scholarship, which covers the cost of tuition, fees, room, board and books.

According to university admissions, that figure comes to roughly $16,000 per year for in-state students and $26,000 for out-of-state students. Paris, raised in California, claims herself as a resident of Oklahoma having lived in the state for four years now.

Essentially, Paris would "owe” close to $64,000 to the university if the Sooners fall short of a national title.

If she doesn't have the money now, I suggest she go the Ty Lawson route.
