Vick is back (almost)

Jacksonville Jaguars v Philadelphia Eagles
The mystery is over and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has finally put an end to the question of when Michael Vick will be eligible to play in the regular season.

Week 3.
Vick hasn't played in a game since 2006. He spent 14 months in jail for being part of a dog fighting ring and was signed by the Eagles just a few weeks ago.
In this situation, the punishment fits the crime. It originally appeared as though Goodell would not reinstate Vick until at least week 6.
But low and behold, Vick will be making his return to the gridiron Sept. 27 when the Eagles welcome Kansas City to the "City of Brotherly Love."
It seems that Goodell finally felt as though Vick understood the degree of his actions, and knew the troublesome quarterback was finally able to move past the mistakes he made.
"I think he's making real progress," Goodell said. "I think he has a better feel for the challenges ahead of him."
Now, Vick has just one more challenge in front of him. He has to prove he can still play football.
Being away from the game for so long, some of the talents Vick had could be somewhat diminished.
But one of the things that made Vick what he was before exiting the league was the natural athleticism and instincts he possessed. Those are things you just don't lose.
For now, though, it's time to enjoy having a revolutionary quarterback back in the game of football.
